St. Patty's Day and the Shallow Structure Hypothesis

So, the defense went well yesterday: all I can say is, that if you work on the Shallow Structure Hypothesis--Clahsen and Felser kind of stuff--that you should keep an eye out for Jill Jegerski's work. She's been working with near-natives in Mexico and they appear to be able to do some rather long-distance stuff....

On a different note, St. Patrick's day is coming up. In anticipation of this holiday in which everybody becomes Irish (or ChiRish as they like to say here in Chicago) we've been devising green appetizers and desserts. If they ever perfect Wonka-vision I'll send you some via the internet.

We decided to leave the green river up to the city...
